The ability to help your friend should never be hampered by thought. It should be so quick that thought has no time to interfere. Like, lungi girne laga, pakad liya! That’s friendship.

Your power of creating complexity cannot accept the simplicity of what is. You are just an ordinary person. But you have created Brahman, Vishnu, Krishna, Shivalingam, Jyotirlingam and what not!

Authority is the acceptance of someone else’s ideas. The medium through which one accepts any authority is created out of the human imaginative faculty, the building blocks of which are words and images. Whatever that authority is, and however original or great it is, it cannot work on us outside that framework. There is no authority when it comes to life.

The body does not want to be high all the time. When you get used to a certain high through chemical inducement or information, you want it again and again. The absence of the high is interpreted as a low. For the body neither high nor low is important. It just wants to function optimally.

If you are really interested in the well-being of the system, the only thing you should know is, it is absolutely necessary for you to stay out of the way.

You are a squatter but you think you are the owner of the body. You know all the different ways to kill yourself, but you don't know what you should do to address it's core well-being. That's the only thing you have no clue about. At least, if you know what disturbs it, by giving that up, you go towards serving it's well-being.

The moment you have any idea of needing more than your food, clothing and shelter, it is the beginning of the delusion created by the sense of self.

What is it that makes you feel that some more information, association or movement is necessary for you to find peace? What I am saying is that you are not doing what is supposed to be done to sort out the already existing information and throw out that which is not important. You are attached to certain ideas and you give too much importance to them. To me that is the worst drug.

Seeing the right thing as right brings about the right choice from within.

What is there will exhibit itself. It will move in the field of living where the stress is minimum. That's all it wants. If I have to say anything about my functionality, it is this. I just don't want to uphold any ideas whatsoever.

The questioner is perpetuating the question. There is a hope that by questioning he will find the set of knowledge which will free him from his troubles.

People who created science are way more passionate and curious than those who created religion and beliefs. Science is based on reproducibility. You know it works, otherwise you would never board a plane. If your son is dying, no God will come to your rescue, but a doctor will certainly help!

You are nothing but a product of thought. You cannot find a solution to the problems created by thought. You are a part of the problem.

If you want to do something to the thinker, thought is not the instrument because thought produces the thinker. Thought also produces knowledge which strengthens and fortifies the thinker. There cannot be any knowledge that can put the thinker in the right place.

The generalized idea of reality is born out of a belief structure. It has nothing to do with life. The reality which is expressed in your life and living is what I call Functional Reality. That which functions and also impacts you.

Following a religion or accepting some Guru's instruction is mental slavery.

There may not be anything called love. It is just a definition. It is something which you can't generate inside you by understanding or knowing the meaning.

You really do not understand the dynamics that can make a person fall in love. If you did it would be a calculated action.

You and your memory are hard wired into the social structure. The idea of a way out is utopia. There is no way out, but it is possible to live harmoniously with others.
